Steering Committee

MOPS at Fellowship Bible Church is managed by a Steering Team of 8 – 12 volunteers all specializing in the various areas in MOPS. These mothers of preschoolers themselves volunteer many hours of time and effort to create a refreshing, relaxing, and supportive atmosphere for the moms and their children at each MOPS meeting.

In addition to the two MOPS meetings per month, these ladies attend Steering Team meetings, MOPS leadership training sessions, retreats, and various MOPS International meetings throughout the year.

	Discussion Group Leader: Cheree Gesin Children: Daughter (December 2005), Son (April 2008) If I were a crayon, I would be… blue. My favorite smell is… the beach. My favorite food is… pizza, specifically Mack n Mancos and McDonalds. I love when my kids… are giggling together, like really really laughing. It is the sweetest sound! I love when you just see them love and care for one another.
	Hospitality Coordinator: Ashley Wilford Children: Son (May 2008), Daughter (Arriving August 2010) If I were a crayon, I would be… pink! My favorite smell is… a campfire. My favorite food is… dark chocolate. I love when my… son sits and watches a thunderstorm with me and then we look for God’s rainbow as the sky clears up.
	Publicity/Website Coordinator: Jessica Frederick Children: Son (June 2003), Son (June 2006), Daughter (Dec 12-17th 2008), Daughter (Arriving August 2010) If I were a crayon, I would be… ‘Carribean Blue’ because it reminds me of Paradise Island, Bahamas! My favorite smell is… freshly baked banana bread. My favorite food is… guacamole or oreo cookie milkshakes…could just be a current pregnancy craving! I love when my kids… wrap their arms around my neck for a tight hug, belly laugh, and play together sweetly.
	Creative Activities Coordinator (1st semester): Holly Ramer Children: Son (April 2007), Son (May 2009) If I were a crayon, I would be… lime green. My favorite smell is… salty beach air. My favorite food is… a hot NYC everything bagel. I love when my kids… give me unsolicited hugs and kisses.
	Creative Activities Coordinator (2nd semester): Chris Horton Children: Daughter (June 2004), Daughter (May 2007), Daughter (Arriving Sept. 2010) If I were a crayon, I would be… fuscia. My favorite smell is… the smell of my house when I’m making homemade applesauce. My favorite food is… pizza and birthday cake. I love when my kids… pray and thank God for everything and everyone under the sun–takes forever but it’s adorable and a good reminder of God’s many blessings.
	Registration/Data Coordinator: Denise Summers Children: Daughter (Feb. 2003), Daughter (Dec. 2004), Daughter (May 2006), Son (March 2010) If I were a crayon, I would be… passion fruit. My favorite smell is… clean laundry or babies. There is just something that says innocence and fresh.. My favorite food is… anything mexican. I love when my kids… and I can laugh about life and things that are really funny. It makes me forget about mothering, and be their friend too.
